Portuguese festival Semibreve has revealed the first wave of acts for its 2018 edition.
Footwork producer Jlin joins the line-up along with William Basinski and experimental duo Telectu, who’ve been commissioned for a special performance of their 1983 album Belzebu. Elsewhere on the first announcement, there’s Keith Fullerton Whitman – who’ll be working with Berlin-based audiovisual artist Pierce Warnecke for a performance – and Danish composer SØS Gunver Ryberg.
2017 saw Semibreve cement its status as one of the finest small festivals in Europe, with a line-up including Wolfgang Voigt’s legendary GAS project, Karen Gwyer and Visible Cloaks.
The two-day event will stage its eighth edition across various venues in Braga, on 26-28 October. Head to the festival’s website for more information, and read Crack Magazine’s in-depth feature with Jlin.
